Last month the lineup for the 2014 Winter Jazzfest was announced. According to JazzTimes this marks the 10th anniversary of the event, which is set to take place Jan. 7 through Jan. 11.
TimeOut said that, “highlights include a kickoff concert with Bobby Previte’s Terminals, featuring John Medeski, Nels Cline and So Percussion, plus an anniversary fete for 75-year-old label Blue Note Records headlined by piano titans Robert Glasper and Jason Moran.”
The festival will feature more than 90 groups, 400 performers and nine NYC venues, of which include: Blue Note, Le Poisson Rouge and The Town Hall. Footage from last year’s event can be found here.
